In June 2013, we took a team of eleven to Panajachel in Guatemala to build homes for the poor. It was an amazing week. It was a week of unexpected challenges, unbelievable blessings, and memories that will last a lifetime. We built seven homes in the Patanatic region of Panajachel. We built homes for families, widows, and perhaps the most special and memorable was for two orphan girls named Jessica and Maria. It was truly heartbreaking to see how they had been living prior to our arrival. After building their home, those girls had smiles on their faces we will all never forget. It was a blessing for us to build them a home that is temporary, but it was a greater blessing to show them the love of Jesus Christ which has eternal impact on their lives. There is no greater joy than being the hands and feet of Jesus to the "least of these."

It is exciting to see what God is doing in and through the Master’s Mission. I feel blessed to be a part of this God-honoring organization. As Christians we are called by God to “go” to share Jesus’s love (1 John 3:17). And we are called to “go” share the good news of Jesus Christ (Matt 28:19-20). All Christians are called to be a part of the great commission. The Master's Mission is a great way to get involved in God’s work, in either sending or going. Your brother in Christ, Alex Cooke
